The supervisor
Х organizes work.
Х coordinates the separate kinds of activity.
Х gives the task to singles.
Х observes the pupils to speak English as much as possible.

The leader
Х represents the intermediate results.
Х takes care of the classmates to work on the research.
Х parts the duties of other classmates in the presentation.
Х discusses the forms of the presentation with the group.
Х prepares and hands out the material beforehand.

The timekeeper
Х watches the time and the results of the work.
Х is responsible for discipline.
Х motivates classmates who do not work on the project.
Х takes care of a working atmosphere.
Х observes the pupils to speak English as much as possible.

The reviewer
Х makes notes about the course of the presentation and the methods pupil use.
Х motivates other pupils who do not work on the project.
Х asks the questions about misunderstandings.
Х instructs for the further actions.

The general instructions:
Х All the work must be done by the group.
Х The pupils must change the roles during the project work
Х The leader represents the intermediate results.

The first lesson:
We explain new words and listen them!

Х ƒл¤ работы на уроке необходимы тетради, словари, компьютеры.
Х Ќа данном уроке учитель снимает ¤зыковые трудности, вводит Ћ≈, которые ученики встрет¤т на сайте, активизаци¤ и семантизаци¤ Ћ≈.
Х Ћ≈ выписаны на доске, на доске также адрес сайта, на который необходимо будет зайти учащимс¤.
Х ”чащиес¤ записывают составленные предложени¤ в тетради, новую лексику в словари.


1. The pupils have a task::
Х How can you translate these words?

Tower of London,
White Tower,
Crown Jewels,
Ghosts ,
Beefeaters ,
Ravens and the legend

Х What kind of information can you find in these words?
Х Translate into Russian:
Beef, protect, the best view, a bridge, underground, strong, thick, famous , special, guard, biscuits, blood, afraid of, dark , once
( Then the pupils use the computers during the word research)
Х What new information about historic royal places in London can you find ?
Children work on the computers alone and find new information in the WEBsites for homework.
Homework: Represent all information as a diagram, write all unknown words.


The second lesson:
We practice our active vocabulary in our speech .


The third lesson :
The pupils work in the groups.
”чащиес¤ получают " The rules for effective group work . ѕравила работы в группе" и самосто¤тельно собирают информацию по предложенной проблеме.
Three groups have different projects: У The Tower of LondonФ, У The Tower of London Area Ф The Ravens and the Legend.,
1.group: У The Tower of LondonФ

Two pupils will be ravens. Another will be tourists. Present your virtual tour project.

2.group: У The Tower of London Area Ф

This group must show the best historic royal places in London .What can tourists see in this area ? Demonstrate the best . What do they mean?

3.group: УThe Ravens and the Legend.

It was the legend about the Tower of London and the ravens , wasn`t it? Why were the ravens in the Tower ? What did it meant? Can tourists see the ravens now?

Homework: Pupils collect all information , prepare materials for the presentation of the projects.

The fourth lesson:
Presentation.
Pupils present their projects.
The first group will show the computer presentation of the project .

The second group will present the best historic royal places in London. The group will demonstrate their posters Ц invitations with texts, pictures, illustration, drawings and tell the most interesting .

The third group will tell the old and young ravens , the legend and show pictures, illustration, drawings to the legend .

Homework: Write a letter to your best friend about the most interesting historic royal place in London.
